3-methoxy-2-hydroxy-3,3-diphenylpropionic acid is used to Ambrisentan intermediate.
Anrisentan is a selective endothelin receptor antagonist, which has the effects of reducing endogenous vasoconstriction, antiproliferative and anti-inflammatory. Anrisentan is a specific endothelin receptor A (ETA receptor) inhibitor developed by Gilead Science Company. It is a highly selective ETA receptor antagonist that can block the binding of ET and ETA, thereby blocking ETA-mediated pulmonary vasoconstriction and smooth muscle cell proliferation.
